The Lecture Slide audio won't load, what do I do?
Firstly, try clicking refresh on your browser. Most of the time when the "Loading Audio" bar stays there forever it means there is no audio on that slide, so you can just study the text and pictures and move on.
In cases when only one slide is effected, you can usually fix it by following
these instructions
.
Also, check the volume control in the taskbar to see if it is turned up, and double click it to make sure that the entire volume control or Wave or MP3 volume is not set to "Mute".
(If there is no volume control in your taskbar, go to "Control Panel" in "My Computer", click "Multimedia", and check "Show volume control on the taskbar" and click "OK".)
Then check to see if your speakers are on and connected to your computer, and that the volume is turned up.
If you have not done so already, check to ensure that versions of all programs in use on your system meet the minimum requirements listed
here.
It is also possible there is no soundcard installed in your system. If you think this may be the case, and you have checked all the other support suggestions, you may want to contact support and/or have your computer looked at by a professional repair technician.
If you live in "The Estates" apartment complex in Gainesville, Florida, the mp3 streaming will not work on your network. The isp for the complex doesn't return phone calls or offer any real suggestions for a workaround, so you will probably have to use one of the computer labs at your school or library.
